Flashback to a Georgia Dove Hunt

Check out our Georgia dove hunting from a few years ago.

Apart from deer hunting in the South, the dove hunting opener is arguably one of the most anticipated opening days of the year. Despite the number of dove harvested, opening day draws a good crowd, lots of tradition and overall a good time.

Here’s a look at a dove hunt I participated in several years ago that you may have missed. I recently reposted the same video with no music on our Facebook page. Take a look.

In this episode I sit down and talk with published author Craig Raleigh. We discuss the differences between hunting in the South and hunting in the North.

Today on the podcast I talk with Senior Writer at Wide Open Spaces, Craig Raleigh. Craig is the author of his newly published book The Hunter’s Way. We compare and contrast hunting in the South and hunting in the North. We discuss different traditions and pastimes from each region. Additionally, Craig offers a glimpse into the inspiration behind his book.
